Indiana cruises past Iowa

Cody Zeller scored a career-high 26 points as Indiana defeated Iowa 103-89 Sunday at Assembly Hall.

Verdell Jones III had 14 points and nine assists. Christian Watford finished with 15 points as the No. 16 Hoosiers improved to 17-5 overall and 5-5 in the Big Ten. Six Hoosiers reached double figures in scoring.

It's the first time IU has scored at least 100 points in a Big Ten game since finishing with 110 against Iowa on March 12, 1995.

Indiana shot 55.2 percent from the floor. The Hoosiers got to the basket at will, finishing with 58 points in the paint.

Iowa shot 63 percent. Josh Oglesby led the Hawkeyes (11-11, 3-6) with 24 points. Matt Gatens had 20 points.
