TinCaps hire play-by-play voice

The Journal Gazette

Mike Couzens has been named manager of broadcasting and media relations, the Fort Wayne TinCaps announced today.

Couzens will appear on both the team's radio and TV broadcasts, in addition to handling the club's media relations, the TinCaps said in a statement.

He previously has worked for the AAA-level Syracuse Chiefs and for the Dayton Dragons in the Midwest League, the statement said.

The TinCaps open the 2012 season at Parkview Field on April 5 against Lake County.
