E. Noble slides past Railroaders

East Noble came up clutch late to get past host Garrett 45-39 in boys basketball Thursday.

The Knights outscored the Railroaders 16-10 in the fourth quarter to pull away in a tie game.

For East Noble, Nick Myers had 13 points, and T.J. Blair had 11 points and six rebounds. Drake Landes had 16 points for the Railroaders.

Girls basketball

HUNTINGTON NORTH 45, COLUMBIA CITY 43: Taylor Pursifull had 17 points and nine rebounds for the host Vikings. Kelsey Hollowell added 12 points for Huntington North. Macie Hinen had 13 points for the Eagles.

BLACKHAWK CHRISTIAN 37, HAMILTON 33: The visiting Braves outscored the Marines 19-10 in the second half.

Brittney Chalfant led Blackhawk Christian with 15 points. Lindsey Stoy had 14 points for Hamilton.

GARRETT 48, EAST NOBLE 24: Katie DePew’s 17 points led the host Railroaders. Brandi Dawson and Laura Moynahan each added 11.

Gymnastics

DEKALB 103.1, WAWASEE 92.6: Kiya Hill took the all-around title with 37.15 points to lead the host Barons. Kristen Russell was second in the all-around with 33.65 points.
