Patti Van Leuven was named director of transitions at the Women’s Bureau, as well as its Commission on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities administrator. Van Leuven has been with the Women’s Bureau since 2000.

Julia Thorn was promoted to a training team position at 80/20 Inc. Thorn has been with the company since 2006.

Ed Vessels, owner of HiValu LLC, was elected president of the Huntington University Foundation board of directors. Vessels will also serve on the board of trustees.

Tom Berger joined Extension Inc. as chief nursing officer. Berger will work with the implementation team to provide clinical integration support, advice and direction of production, trial and lab implementations of Extension solutions.

Diana Parent, president and managing director of Sperry Van Ness/Parke Group, was named a member of the Midwest Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame by Midwest Real Estate News magazine. Parent is profiled in the December 2011/January 2012 issue of the magazine.

Hallmark Home Mortgage announced the following inductees from its Fort Wayne headquarters into its 2011 Hallmark Hall of Fame class: Tina Bennett, Michelle Clayton, Jeff Davis, Kelly Durnell, Michelle Houlihan, Patrick Kinder, Mark Meussling, Michelle Smekens and Jaymi Sullivan.

Del Doughty was named interim senior vice president for academic affairs at Huntington University. Doughty is a professor of English at the university.

Jeffrey J. Rapp of Northwestern Mutual-Indiana received Northwestern Mutual’s 2012 Central Region Managing Director Leader Award. The honor recognizes an outstanding year of performance with the company, serving the financial security needs of clients and policy owners throughout the region.

Ed McCutcheon, a broker with Century 21 Bradley, was the top individual producer for December and the 2011 top individual producer for the Century 21 Bradley office. McCutcheon also ranked in the 2011 top 50 individual producers for Indiana and Ohio.
