INDIANAPOLIS -- OK, now that Madonna's departed the stage, it's on to the second half.
(Quickie halftime show review: Great lighting, great showmanship, Madonna can still put on a floor show. But if she was actually singing, I'll donate by larynx to science).
Anyway, a few observations about the first half ....
* The Giants are getting beat by Danny Woodhead. This could not have been in the game plan.
* Tom Brady has resumed being Tom Brady. He was as good as you can get in the second quarter, completing 12 of 14 passes and leading the Patriots on a 14-play, 96-drive that tied the Super Bowl record for longest drive in history. Eli Manning may have opened 9-for-9 -- another record -- but Brady's taken control.
