Bishop Luers guard James Blackmon Jr. appears to have torn his anterior cruciate ligament.

The sophomore, who is an Indiana recruit, wrote on his Twitter account, @JBlackmon2, that he “Just received the worst news of my life.”

In a response to a question about his post, Blackmon wrote, “Think I tore my acl man ..” and “my work ethic will be me through this.”

The ACL is one of the four main stabilizing ligaments of the knee.
