AHL rumor

OK, take this with an exceptionally large grain of salt. This writer is huge on rumors that, in my experience, rarely end up bring correct.

However, click here to read a story in which the idea is floated that the American Hockey League could come to Fort Wayne.

I don't buy it for a second.

Aside from the fact that this market wouldn't support AHL hockey because the costs would go up, this scenario would involve the Frankes giving up at least a portion of control of their business. I don't see it.
