Master Gardeners to lead ‘basics’ seminars

Statement issued Tuesday:

"Gardening Basics" will be the theme of the Master Gardener seminars offered at the 2012 Fort Wayne Home and Garden Show held at the Memorial Coliseum on March-1-4. Purdue Master Gardeners and other area experts will offer their tips and tricks regarding gardening basics at the Master Gardener Stage each day at the show. Learn about vegetable gardening, propagating and growing flowers, and how to care for the lawn and landscape - or America's favorite vegetable- tomatoes! In addition, Purdue Master Gardeners will also be available to answer garden questions at their booth located in the garden hall. Purchase seeds of unusual flowers and vegetables at the booth and help support the Master Gardener volunteer program!
