The Art Farm is offering the popular Talisman neckpiece workshop twice this month.
According to previous news releases on the class, it always fills up.
Taught by Lisa Vetter, the class will show you how to use your own old charms, earrings, heirloom jewels, trinkets, etc., and place them in context to "amplify their power as a symbol," creating your own talisman.
So, start gathering up your own found objects and prepare for the class. One will be Feb. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the other Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The cost, including materials, is $85 and you can reserve a spot by calling the Art Farm at 260-238-4755. The classes are limited to 10 participants each.
