The Indiana Department of Transportation said U.S. 24 closed four miles west of Fort Wayne for about an hour Wednesday morning.
It was closed roughly between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m., according to the INDOT website.
It said the road was closed at East 1100 North. No further information was immediately available.
The National Weather Service in northern Indiana said slick spots were reported on northeast Indiana roads this morning, with numerous slide-offs.
Affected counties include:
- Indiana Allen, Cass, Miami, Wabash, Huntington, Wells, Adams, Grant, Blackford and Jay.
- Ohio – Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Allen.
