Alveda King to speak at IPFW

Alveda King, the niece of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., will speak at IPFW as part of Black History Month events later this month, a local task force announced today.

King will speak at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 in the Neff Hall auditorium, Urban Life Matters said in a statement. The public is invited.

The free event is co-sponsored by the IPFW Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, the Fort Wayne Urban League and the task force, the statement said.
