K's dominating ducks

The Komets are simply dominating the Quad City Mallards.

They got goals from Brett Smith on a short-handed breakaway, Jamie Milam on a power play and Colin Chaulk after a scrum in front of the net, and they lead it 4-0 after two periods.

There were also two goals waved off by referee Peter Tarnaris. One because the whistle was blown, the other for reasons unknown. And the Komets hit a post and a crossbar.

The shots are 28-14 in favor of Fort Wayne.
