Komets fired up, winning

The Komets lead the Quad City Mallards 1-0 after one period at Memorial Coliseum. Perhaps more impressively has been their fire. They've had two fights: Bryant Molle fought John Snowden, though Molle got 17 penalty minutes for it; and David Starenky fought Jason Kostadine.

There are about 10,000 fans here, so the Komets seem poised to give them a show.
