The Racers led 40-33 at halftime, but Tennessee State (10-6), which has won six games in a row, outscored Murray State 39-28 in the second half.
Robert Covington (17 points) and Kenny Moore (16) led four double-figure scorers for Tennessee State. Isaiah Cannon scored 31 for Murray State, but no one else scored more than 10.
No. 20 MISSISSIPPI ST. 70, MISSISSIPPI 60: In Starkville, Miss., Arnett Moultrie scored 18 points, Dee Bost dished a career-high 13 assists to lead the Bulldogs (19-5, 6-3 Southeastern Conference), who scored the first eight points and never trailed.
No. 21 WISCONSIN 68, MINNESOTA 61, OT: In Minneapolis, Jordan Taylor scored 27 as the Badgers gutted out the overtime victory.
Wisconsin (19-6, 8-4 Big Ten) failed to score over the last 7 1/2 -plus minutes of the second half while the Gophers (17-8, 5-7) dug out of a 13-point hole.
But that dogged Wisconsin defense came back in the overtime even though the Badgers shooting touch didnt.
Ryan Evans had 17 points and 11 rebounds for Wisconsin, which went 15 for 17 from the free throw line in overtime.
We did a good job of sticking together and finding a way to claw one out, Taylor said.
Rodney Williams and Andre Hollins guided a frantic comeback by the Gophers in the final minutes of regulation after they fell behind 49-36. The Badgers made only one basket over the last 9 1/2 minutes of the second half, a putback by Jared Berggren with 7:44 remaining.
Both Austin Hollins and Andre Hollins had shots to win the game in the final seconds for Minnesota, but the Badgers dodged that scare, refocused in overtime and improved to 19-0 this season when leading or tied with 5 minutes left.
They went just 2 for 12 from three-point range after halftime.
Anytime you can win on the road against a tough opponent its always fun, said Taylor, who had only one other 20-point game this season.
VALPARAISO 59, CLEVELAND STATE 41: In Cleveland, Ryan Broekhoff scored 24 points, 18 on three-pointers, and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Crusaders won their fourth straight.
Valparaiso (18-8, 11-3 Horizon League) hit 11 of 22 three-pointers, including 7 of 13. Five of those seven threes came in the first 8 minutes.

DETROIT 70, No. 9 GREEN BAY 58: In Green Bay, Wis., Shareta Brown scored 24 points and Senee Shearer added 23 as the Titans handed the Phoenix (20-1, 10-1) their first loss of the season.
Detroit (13-11, 9-3 Horizon League) snapped Green Bays 40-game regular-season winning streak and ended their bid for a second straight perfect season in the Horizon.
ILLINOIS 66, No. 10 OHIO STATE 65: In Champaign, Ill., Alexis Moore made a game-winning layup with 2 seconds left to lift the Illini.
After Tayler Hill drove the lane for a driving right-handed layup in traffic with 19 seconds left to give Ohio State a one-point lead, Moore answered with a twisting go-ahead basket to give Illinois (9-16, 3-9 Big Ten) its first win against a ranked opponent this season.
No. 12 DELAWARE 76, OLD DOMINION 63: In Newark, Del., Elena Delle Donne had 27 points and 15 rebounds as the Blue Hens (21-1, 12-0 Colonial Athletic Association) won their 11th in a row.
MICHIGAN 63, No. 13 NEBRASKA 52: In Lincoln, Neb., Carmen Reynolds matched her season high with 16 points, and the Wolverines capitalized on Nebraskas abysmal shooting.
