Robbie Hummel leads the Boilermakers with 13 points. Kelsey Barlow has six points. Barlow and Northwestern's Drew Crawford were given technical fouls with 50 seconds left in the half for an altercation near Purdue's bench.

Senior Lewis Jackson did not start for the second consecutive game for Purdue.

John Shurna and Dave Sobolewski have seven points for the Wildcats. Reggie Hearn, a Snider graduate, has five points and four rebounds for Northwestern.
