This one's already ugly

Unless the Mad Ants make the biggest comeback in D-League history, it looks as though they will lose their fifth consecutive game.

It's halftime inside the Coliseum, and the Ants are trailing Springfield 73-41.

I'll do the math: That's 32 points.

Springfield is shooting 27 of 45 from the floor, has out-rebounded the Ants 26-15, and has 17 assists compared to the Ants' seven.

Cameron Jones leads the Ants with 11 points.

The best thing all night has been Benny The Bull, who is not even with the Mad Ants. He's the Chicago Bulls' entertaining mascot.

Steve Warden blogs all things Mad Ants.
