Thomas could return Tuesday

The Komets didn't make any moves prior to today's deadline for signing players coming back from Europe. However, general manager David Franke said center Leo Thomas could be back in the lineup Tuesday at Bloomington, Ill.

Thomas has missed the last eight games because of undisclosed personal reasons.

Franke said several players are beaten up right now -- Artem Podshendyalov is not among them -- and the lineup decisions will be made after Tuesday's morning skate.
