Gilbert Brown release latest Ants move

Gilbert Brown, who played 19 games and started seven, was released by the Mad Ants on Monday.

The 6-foot-6 guard from Pittsburgh averaged 12.2 points and 4.0 rebounds.

In other roster moves, the Ants are expected to activate point guard Tory Jackson off the injured list for Thursday's game against Erie.

Jackson, who has been out two weeks with a sprained ankle, averaged 7.2 points and 3.0 assists in 26 games.

Additionally, the Ants signed Thomas Baudinet, a 6-3 guard who averaged 7.6 points with the Iowa Energy before he was released last month. Baudinet scored a season-high 21 points against the Ants on Jan. 21. He played briefly in Sunday's game against Springfield and scored three points.
