IU wins 20th game

Cody Zeller scored 23 points as No. 18 Indiana defeated Northwestern 71-66 Wednesday at Assembly Hall.

Victor Oladipo and Christian Watford scored 12 points as IU won its 20th game.

Verdell Jones III made three big baskets late to clinch the win. Jones missed the two previous games with a shoulder injury. Jones had six points. John Shurna scored 29 points to pace Northwestern. Reggie Hearn, a Snider graduate, had eight.
