IPFW loses to Oral Roberts

In its last home game of the season, IPFW lost to Oral Roberts 75-71 on Wednesday at Memorial Coliseum.

It was a game in which ORU (24-5, 16-1) captured the regular season Summit League title, while IPFW (10-16, 4-12) slipped further in the standings, with the chance of not qualifying for the postseason tournament.

Junior forward Frank Gaines led IPFW with 28 points.

Guard Warren Niles led Oral Roberts with 24.
