IPFW leads ORU at half

Frank Gaines has 12 points and Trey McCorkle has eight as IPFW leads Oral Roberts 36-33 at halftime at Memorial Coliseum.

The Mastodons are playing for a berth in next month's Summit League tournament, to be played at Sioux Falls, S.D. March 3-6. IPFW is tied for eighth place in the conference, with the top eight spots going to the postseason tournament.

Oral Roberts (23-5, 15-1) can clinch the Summit League regular season title with a win.

Warren Niles, a 6-foot-5 junior guard from Cincinnati, leads ORU with 12 points.
