  • IPFW men's tennis player wins invitational
Karl Wangensten-Oye earned an individual title at the Northern Kentucky Invitational on Saturday in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
  • IPFW doubles team goes undefeated at tourney
In East Lansing, Michigan, the IPFW women’s doubles team of Marcy Huck and Mayu Sato finished the season-opening tennis tournament at Michigan State undefeated Sunday.
  • Miami (Ohio) blanks IPFW women
The IPFW women's soccer team (1-6) fell 3-0 at Oxford, Ohio to Miami. Kelsey Dinges scored for the RedHawks in the 25th minute from a free kick deflection to give the hosts a one-goal advantage at halftime.

That's the difference between the two teams' RPI: Oral Roberts (23-5, 15-1 Summit League) is 45, and IPFW (10-15, 4-11) is 287.

So the Mastodons have a mammoth challenge on their hands tonight when they face the best team in the conference in the Golden Eagles, who could be making their final Fort Wayne appearance.

This is Oral Roberts' last season in the Summit League. The Golden Eagles be moving to the Southland Conference next season.

From IPFW's perspective, they won't be missed, as ORU owns a 7-3 record against the Mastodons.

A win by Oral Roberts tonight gives it the Summit League regular season championship.
