With the lack of big men on this current Mad Ants roster, it would be nice if they could reacquire an old face who will be on the Erie bench tonight.
Marvin Phillips Jr., the 6-foot-8 forward who played a season and a half with the Ants, including this year when he was released a month ago, is now with the Erie BayHawks. He has played 13 games and averages nearly five points and five rebounds per game. A week ago against Maine, Phillips had 12 points.
The Ants (10-21) will be out to end a five-game losing streak. They will leave from the Coliseum on Thursday night and fly to Frisco, Texas, where they will face the Texas Legends on Friday night.
