Donnelly to campaign in city

Rep. Joe Donnelly, D-2nd, will appear at restaurants and cafes in 10 cities next week as he kicks off his campaign for a Senate seat.

Donnelly will be at the Friendly Fox, a restaurant at 4001 South Wayne Ave., from 3 to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Donnelly, of Granger, is the only candidate for the Democratic nomination for Senate in the May 8 primary elections. State Treasurer Richard Mourdock is challenging Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., in the Republican primary.
