Democrats launch Pence TV

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Democratic Party today launched www.TheMikePenceShow.com, a new site dedicated to Congressman Mike Pence's record in Washington as he ramps up his bid for Indiana Governor.

The first episode of The Mike Pence Show focuses on the Congressman's partisan stances on critical issues and his experience - or lack thereof - as an executive.

"Congressman Pence is part of the problem in Washington: He spouts off the latest partisan talking points but accomplishes little," said Indiana Democratic Party Chair Dan Parker. "He's been trying to rewrite that do-nothing record in his bid for Indiana Governor, but we're not going to let him get away with it."

Parker said Pence's record of missed votes and affinity for cable news punditry indicate a lack of commitment to the hard work it's going to take to get Indiana back on track.

"He's a showhorse through and through," Parker said. "Trouble is, we need a workhorse in the Governor's Office if we have any hope of turning around our economy and creating good-paying jobs for Hoosiers. Indiana needs a leader, not a D.C. creature in search of higher office."

TheMikePenceShow.com will regularly feature new "episodes" highlighting Pence's Washington record and his fleeting commitment to Indiana.
