Komets lose to Blaze in fight-filled game

The Komets had a lot of fight in them Friday night.

There was a brawl early in the game when Bryant Molle went after Bloomington's Ryan Palmer, which precipitated a fight between the goalies.

After ejections for Molle and goalie Nick Boucher, plus the concussion symptoms for center Colin Chaulk, Fort Wayne played most of the game three men short.

And the Komets faced six short-handed situations, three from major penalties, in a 5-4 loss to the Blaze.

But the Komets came back from three-goal deficit with third-period goals from Jamie Milam and Jean-Michel Rizk.

And backup goaltender Gerry Festa even stopped a Jordy Trottier penalty shot.
