KOKOMO – Snider couldn't overcome the 19-point hole it dug for itself in the first half and lost 47-33 to North Central in the championship game of the Class 4A regional Saturday at Kokomo.
The Panthers (21-4) fell into a 31-12 abyss in the second quarter and never overcame the deficit, although they had gotten to within five twice, 35-30 and 38-33.
Snider, which shot 12 of 50 from the floor for 24 percent, was led by Akilah Sims' 12 points.
