Robbie Hummel scored a season-high 29 points in Purdue's 83-65 victory against Nebraska Wednesday.

Here are the highlights.

Key number: 13. The Boilermakers made 13 three-pointers. D.J. Byrd had five in his return from a one-game suspension. Hummel and Ryne Smith both had four.

Key stretch: Byrd made a three-pointer with 12:56 to start an 11-3 run. Hummel scored the final eight points in the spurt. He made back-to-back three-pointers and then scored again to stretch the lead to 25-12 with 10:39 to go in the first half. Quotable:

Taking care of the ball: Lewis Jackson had 13 points, five assists and no turnovers. The Boilermakers had seven turnovers in the game.
