Sen. Richard Lugar and Indiana Treasurer Richard Mourdock might be sharing the venue at this April’s Allen County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner, but they are not sharing the billing.
A preview flyer sent by the party this week makes it clear that Lugar is the headliner. In the promotional ad, Lugar is listed as the featured speaker. Mourdock, who is challenging the incumbent in this year’s Republican primary, is listed as a candidate for senate.
In fact, Mourdock is even listed below Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-3rd, who will be master of ceremonies for the event. Mourdock’s photo in the flyer is even a bit smaller than the ones for Lugar and Stutzman.
The dinner is just one of two announced joint appearances by the Republican candidates for senate. The dinner is 6:30 p.m. April 30.
