And speaking of Danica ...

Well, here's another idiot heard from.

Nice goin' there, Sparky. Apparently it's true what they say about television waves killing brain cells.

Here's the thing about this: I seriously doubt this guy has ever met Danica Patrick. What he's done, no doubt, is hear the stories about her and seen a few clips where she's been standoffish and downright snippy with people in media.

She can be like that. So can any number of male drivers. But if you're male and you come off that way, that just means you're a hard-nosed competitor. If you're Danica, you're .... well, a word that starts with a "B" and isn't "beautiful."

Does Patrick have an outsized sense of entitlement about her? Sure she does, but only because IndyCar (and now, NASCAR) unwittingly fostered it when they decided to use her to sell their sport. And while we're on the subject of selling, yes, it's more than a little facetious of her to complain about being labeled as "sexy" while at the same time fostering that image in all those spots.

When you live in the public realm, you are the image you cultivate. And Danica's cultivated her sex appeal to a fare-thee-well.

That said ... it hardly warrants some goofball all but calling her the "B" word on the air. Shame on him.
