Well, this is interesting.
You can't really see a whole lot, but apparently this is video of Peyton Manning throwing at his not-so-super-secret workouts at Duke University. Looks like he's chucking it pretty well, from what you can see.
Whether or not this adds another dynamic to the Big Decision this week remains to be seen. I still think it's better for all parties, if the Colts are going to draft Andrew Luck, to save the $28 million Manning's supposed to get Thursday and cut him loose.
Healthy or not, I don't really see the upside of making Luck sit for a year (or more?) behind a quarterback, whether he's fully recovered or not, who is ever more likely to go down again the older he gets. All that does is delay Luck's development for .... what, exactly?
It's not as if Peyton comes back and the Colts suddenly jump up and make the Super Bowl again. This is clearly a rebuilding situation now in Indy, a turning of the page from one era to another. In that context, it just doesn't make sense to turn every page but the last one.
