Coaches name Zeller top freshman

Indiana's Cody Zeller was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year by the league's coaches Monday. Michigan's Trey Burke gained the honor by the league's media.

Zeller gained second-team All-Big Ten honors.

Christian Watford made the honorable mention list by the media and coaches. Watford is joined on the media's honorable mention by Jordan Hulls and Victor Oladipo.

Oladipo was named to the All-Defensive Team. Zeller was named to the All-Freshmen team.

Michigan State's Draymond Green earned Big Ten Player of the Year honors. His coach, Tom Izzo, was named the Coach of the Year.
