Mosaic tile workshop offered

You can learn how to adheer found materials such as pottery shards, dinnerware, game chips, coins, stones, buttons and more to a wooden picture frame at the latest workshop offered by the Art Farm.

The two-day workshop will be March 10 and March 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at the Art Farm. The cost is $110 and includes all materials. Materials provided include:

  • 8-inch by 8-inch wooden frame with a 3.5-inch by 3.5-inch opening;
  • Adhesive and grout;
  • Nippers and saw for cutting and shaping pieces; and
  • Lots of pottery shards, and other odds and ends, how­ever, you are encouraged to bring personal items to include in your piece.
The first day you will adhere the items to the frame, the second day you will grout and finish your frames.
