A random fashion thought

So I'm chatting with a colleague in the newsroom this afternoon after the Peyton Manning business came down, and he raised an interesting point: Will all those No. 18 jerseys you see upholstering the seats in Lucas Oil Stadium on Sundays go back in their wearers' closets, or will they move on to Andrew Luck jerseys?

No fans, he observed, rock more jerseys than Colts fans. But will they still wear their No. 18s?

It says here they will.

While you don't see a lot of non-current Colts jerseys on Sundays, Manning, I think, will be a special case. He's so synonymous with the Colts and the city of Indianapolis that I think you'll still see plenty of No. 18s in the Luke for years to come.

What say you, Blobophiles?
