  • Looks almost official
Center Thomas Frazee posted on his twitter account he will play for the Komets this season.
  • Next great local hockey star?
Karch Bachman is on track to a professional career in hockey. Possibly one in the NHL. It'll be fun to follow his development.
  • A possible new Komet
No official word yet, but I'm hearing that the Komets may be completing a deal with Thomas Frazee, who had 24 goals and 47 points in 60 games last season with Quad City of the CHL.

K's 20 minutes from being in command

The Komets lead the Evansville IceMen 2-0 after two periods at Memorial Coliseum. If they hang on to win, they'll have a one-point lead in the race for first place in the Turner Conference.

With five of the final six games at the Coliseum, the Komets would have an awfully good chance of being the conference's top seed.

The goals have been scored by Leo Thomas on a redirection and Bobby Chaumont on a one-timer after Brett Smith's pass from behind the net.

Nick Boucher has stopped all 24 shots he's faced.
