This week, I continue my baby obsession with an easy little baby bonnet and chat with Ann Budd.
Easy Little Baby Bonnet
This little bonnet is mostly garter-stitch, really simple and cute all around. Garter stitch helps keep yarn from flashing or pooling, so you can use just about any fingering-weight yarn. I think it would look very cute in a series of stripes, made with leftover sock yarn.
Thanks, again, to Heather Terrill, for helping me out by test-knitting the pattern and suggesting the chin strap.
Anti-Pinch Shamrock Pin
If you are looking for a last-minute flash of green for St. Patty's day, you could try the Anti-Pinch Shamrock Pin I made last year. It's quick, and uses kind of a fun technique.
Chat
I can't thank Ann enough for all of the work she has done for our community over the years, or for taking the time to chat with me. She is charming and wonderful. I hope you like our chat as much as did I.
