Indiana's Andrew Bayer received first-team All-America indoor track honors in two events, the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Monday. Bayer, a Leo graduate, finished fifth in the mile and was part of the second place distance medley relay at the NCAA indoor championships. Bayer also received second-team All-America honors in the 3,000 meters. He finished 15th in that event.
The Hoosiers finished sixth at the meet. IU was awarded 15 first- and second-team certificates.
