Purdue women get No. 4 seed

WEST LAFAYETTE -- Purdue's 14th-ranked Boilermakers drew the No. 4 seed in the Fresno Region and will be home to No. 13 seed South Dakota State on Saturday, beginning around 1:30 p.m. at Mackey Arena.

The Boilermakers (24-8) didn't have to wait long to see what region they drew. They are paired with Stanford in the region that will conclude in Fresno, Calif.

South Dakota State (24-8) is a familiar opponent to Fort Wayne fans, since the Jackrabbits are in the Summit League, and have eliminated IPFW the last two years from the Summit League tournament.
