State GOP seeks public input

The Indiana Republican Party said Monday it will have three public hearings around the state to solicit testimony for its 2012 platform, which will be ratified June 8 and 9 at the party's state convention.

The hearings will be March 21 in South Bend, March 22 in New Albany and April 5 in Indianapolis.

The South Bend hearing for northern Indiana will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in room 225 of the Student Activities Center at Indiana University South Bend, 1700 Mishawaka Ave.

People wanting to submit testimony at any of the three hearings should email Marina Nicholson at mnicholson@indgop.org or send written testimony to platform@indgop.org.
