Christian Watford has made an effort to be more productive on the glass. It has paid off. The Indiana junior forward has finished with a double-double in three of the last four games.
Watford had 10 points and 14 rebounds in a victory against Michigan State. He had 14 points and 10 rebounds against Penn State in the opening round of the Big Ten tournament. Watford finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds in the quarterfinal loss to Wisconsin Friday.
"I'm just trying to rebound the ball more," Watford said Sunday. "Be a more productive player.
"It all starts on the defensive end. That will lead to my offense."
