Cody Zeller might make it look easy, but the freshman said the adjustment from high school to college wasn't easy.
"It has been tough, being a freshman, making the jump from high school to college," Zeller said Sunday. "Especially going to the Big Ten. I'm just trying to learn each day, after each game, after each practice. I want to get better each day. It's been fun."
Zeller excelled as a freshman. He was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year by the league's coaches. Zeller leads the Hoosiers in scoring (15.5 points per game) and rebounding (6.4 per game).
