The Mad Ants announced today that they have acquired former NBA player Stephen Graham. To make room on the roster the team has waived Kevin Coble.

Graham, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound guard out of Oklahoma State, has six years of NBA experience. Last season he played in 56 games for the New Jersey Nets where he averaged 3.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.

He played with the Charlotte Bobcats in 2009-2010 (4.3 ppg, 2.0 rpg), the Indiana Pacers in 2008-09 (5.4 ppg, 1.9 rpg) and 2007-08 (4.0 ppg), and he started the 2006-07 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers before moving to the Portland Trailblazers (3.2 ppg, 1.5 rpg).

He also had a run in the NBA D-League after he left the Trailblazers during the 2006-07 season for the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He averaged 18 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in 32 games and was selected to play in the D-League All-Star game.

Graham is expected to join the Mad Ants on Thursday as they take on the Erie BayHawks in a 7 p.m. game at the Coliseum.
