Mindy Sarrazine dances a little Irish jig while listening to the O'Tooles, bag pipers, outside the grand opening of the Downtown Grind on the corner of Pearl St. & Harrison St. on Friday. Sarrazine along with Kim Vachon, middle, and Amy Thatcher, left, were taking a lunch break and enjoying a little sunshine, music, and a beverage from the shop.

Shooter's Comments: I came across something fun today while driving to my assignments. I saw a bunch of ladies dressed in festive St. Patrick's Day stuff outside a new coffee house called Downtown Grind.

They were dancing in front of the shop with bagpipers playing. "How fun," I thought, and I hoped they wouldn't stop when I got out of my car.

I took still photos of them and made a mini-video of the bagpipers. It was a pretty straightforward raw video, but I thought it turned out nice. It's people you meet like this that make your day as a photojournalist!
