Hoosiers in Sweet 16

Indiana is headed to the Sweet 16.

Will Sheehey hit a jumper with 12.7 seconds remaining to lift the Hoosiers to a 63-61 victory Saturday over Virginia Commonwealth.

Indiana trailed by three late. Victor Oladipo drove to the basket and scored while getting fouled. He made the free throw to tie the game at 61.

VCU missed, Oladipo got the rebound and raced down the court. Sheehey got an open look for a short jumper and connected to put the Hoosiers ahead.

Rob Brandenberg missed at the buzzer.

Christian Watford and Cody Zeller scored 16 points for the Hoosiers.

The Hoosiers are in the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2002.
