The Mad Ants lost a 12-point halftime lead, lost their shooting eye in the second half, and lost their fifth consecutive game Sunday, 85-77 to the Erie BayHawks at Memorial Coliseum.
Despite making just 5 of 15 free throws during the first two quarters, the Ants (11-31) held a 48-36 halftime lead, but proceeded to come out of the locker room flat, scoring 11 points in the third and only 18 in the fourth to go down to their 15th loss in their last 16 games.
Stephen Graham and Darnell Lazare led the Ants with 15 points each. Vernon Macklin had 13 points, 11 of which came in the first half. He also had 16 rebounds.
