The travels of Vaskivuo

In case you missed it, here's today's story on the Komets' Mike Vaskivuo.

Tonight, the Komets play host to the Quad City Mallards, who made some news today by committing to the CHL for the next 10 seasons.

Komets management continues to be silent on its plans for next season, though signs continue to point to Fort Wayne and Evansville joining the ECHL.

I will see if I can get some further comment from the Komets tonight, but don't hold your breath.

If the Komets and Evansville leave, which would seem to be the death knell for Dayton and, perhaps, Bloomington, it sure makes it more interesting that the Mallards are so early saying they're sticking around. But they are in an easier geograpic place than Fort Wayne, for sure.
