ARTISAN MARKETPLACE: Artists and food artisans will be featured at the Indiana Artisan Marketplace at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 31 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 1. Local entrepreneurs include Joe Pelka, Kristy Beber, Jennifer Cameron and Wayne Shive, all of Allen County; Kalista Johnston of DeKalb County; and Terry Armstrong of Kosciusko County.

AT THE LIBRARY:

•The Aboite branch, 5630 Coventry Lane, will have “Art for Homeschool Teens” at 10:30 a.m. Fridays. “Art for Homeschoolers” will be offered at 2 p.m. Thursdays.

•The Pontiac branch, 2215 Hanna St., offer “Sit and Stitch” knitting at 4:30 p.m. Thursdays.

•The Woodburn branch, 4701 Indiana 101 N., will have “Yarn Lover’s Gathering” at 7 p.m. Thursdays.

FILM SCREENING: “Dancing in the Flames,” a filmed conversation between Jungian analyst and author Marion Woodman and Oxford mystic Andrew Harvey, will be shown at 1 p.m. March 31 at First Presbyterian Church, 300 W. Wayne St. Cost for event is $25. For information, call 493-7384.

PHOTO CONTEST: The Indiana State Department of Agriculture Photo Contest is under way. Winners will have their photographs framed and featured in the offices of the lieutenant governor’s family business in Indianapolis and in the 2013 Hoosier Ag Today calendar. QUILTERS EVENT: Area quilt shops, A Quilt of Many Colors, Leo-Cedarville; Caroline’s Cottage Cottons, Rome City; Country Creations, Decatur; Engine House Quilt Show, Berne; Heaven on Earth, Wabash; and Quilts N Gifts, Bluffton, will have their merchandise on display at the Grand Lake One Stop Shop Hop today and Saturday at University of Northwestern Ohio Event Center, 1450 N. SAGO PUBLISHED: Author and former pastor Dr. Paul Sago has published “Planning Your Marriage.” The book contains exercises and insights into difficult subjects and life decisions couples face.

WINNERS NAMED: Valerie McBride of Grabill and Joni Walker of Columbia City were among 11 Hoosiers named winners of the Celebration of Hoosier Women Artists competition. The Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman will recognize the winners Wednesday at a reception to be held at the Statehouse.

AUDITION: Grand Effect Productions will hold open auditions for “An Evening with Mark Twain” from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Calhoun Street Soups, Salads and Spirits, 1915 S. Calhoun St. Those wishing to audition should prepare a short (under 2 minutes) monologue and will do cold readings from the actual script. Rehearsals begin April 2; show dates May 21 and 22.
