The Northrop boys basketball team will play Indianapolis Tech in the Hall of Fame Classic in New Castle at 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 28.
Indianapolis Cathedral and Jay County will play in the first semifinal game at 11 a.m. The championship is set for 8 p.m., preceded by the 6 p.m. consolation game.
Northrop is led by junior twins Bryson Scott and Brenton Scott.
Northrop is the first SAC team to play in the boys portion of the tournament since North Side made appearances in 1977 and 1978.
Bryson, a Purdue recruit, has more than 1,400 career points, while Brenton, an Indiana State recruit, has more than 1,000 career points.
The Bruins beat Tech last season 66-55.
The Titans return all five starters from a team that went 16-5 last year and are led by sophomore Trey Lyles. An Indiana recruit, Lyles averaged 21 points and 14 rebounds last season.
The Northrop girls program participated in the Classic in 1986, winning the championship.
