Verbatim: Local volunteers sent to train derailment

The Indiana-Ohio Blood Services Region of American Red Cross Blood Services issued this news release today:

Tuesday, March 27, 2012 -- The Red Cross of Northeast Indiana has deployed the Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) with two volunteers to assist first responders at the site of a train derailment/chemical spill/fire in Ligonier, Noble County. Four other volunteers are also there to assist. The volunteers will provide food and water to the approximately 200 first responders on the scene.
