Something interesting about the Rapid City Rush, which the Komets face in the Turner Conference semifinals beginning Friday, is that they have a lot of players who are proven performers in the postseason.
Les Reaney has 18 goals and 46 points in 32 CHL playoff games.
Konrad Reeder has 26 goals and 67 points in 53 playoff games.
Shawn Limpright has 13 goals and 31 points in 30 playoff games.
Scott Wray has 23 goals and 55 points in 65 playoff games.
The list goes on and on.
For the Komets, Colin Chaulk has 24 goals and 74 points in 82 playoff games with Fort Wayne in the UHL, IHL and CHL.
Leo Thomas has 10 goals and 25 points in 31 playoff games with Fort Wayne.
Brett Smith has 20 goals and 49 points in 65 CHL playoff games with Bossier-Shreveport, which he captained to the title last year.
Remember, the Komets have a lot of youngsters without a ton of playoff experience.
